Nurul came from an ordinary background. Like majority of fresh graduates, initially she did not have any specific plan on what to do upon graduating with a First Class Honors in Bachelor of Islamic Banking from UiTM.
However, thing took a turn when Nurul was accepted to join IBS Advisory’s Entrepreneur Internship Program (“EIP”) for 5 months. During the EIP, she was exposed to the entrepreneurship world. Nurul started to realize that, in order for her to lead a better and successful life in the future, she needed to do something now.
Upon graduation, most of Nurul’s course mates were busy preparing and sending resume for job openings. However, Nurul, a graduate with CGPA 3.82 decided to do otherwise. She made up her mind to be part of our entrepreneurs team.
However, Nurul’s decision did go well with her parents. Like most of the parents, Nurul’s parents are no exception. They were hoping Nurul could settle for a 9 to 5 job with a stable income.
Nurul was very determined to have a change in life and also to support our Government’s target of achieving at least 30% of the fresh graduates becoming entrepreneurs. She believes making a right decision is more important than working hard.
If a person dares to change, anyone can realize his/her dreams.
