Chin Lee, a co-founder and director of IBS Advisory (M) Sdn. Bhd. She is also a qualified Life Planning Advisor.
Prior to joining IBS Advisory, Chin Lee was a primary school teacher for three years. As a dedicated teacher, Chin Lee enjoyed every single minute she spent with her students whom she also treated them as her “own children”. Chin Lee would make sure the students doing well in their exams and co-curriculum.
Since her younger age, Chin Lee always wanted to become an entrepreneur. She believed entrepreneurship would provide her the opportunities to face challenges and enjoy achievements she wanted in life. When opportunity came, she grabbed it and decided to part way with her teaching career.
Unfortunately, Chin Lee’s decision to become an entrepreneur was full of challenges. As a graduate of teacher training college, Chin Lee was bonded to serve the Government for five years. However, since she decided to leave teaching profession before her bonded period ended, Chin Lee has to pay back RM25,000 to Government of Malaysia being the cost incurred to develop her becoming a qualified teacher.
In addition, Chin Lee’s family also objected strongly to her decision. They preferred Chin Lee to stay on as a Government servant, which was traditionally considered as a stable and secure job. However, Chin Lee believed as long as she planned her work, positive and optimistic minds, perseverance and clear objective, she would definitely achieve what she wanted to achieve in her entrepreneurship pursue.
Over the years, Chin Lee has developed several young and successful entrepreneurs. However, she believes she has yet to unleash her full potentials and abilities yet. As Chin Lee always wanted to give only the best to her business partners, family and herself, as such, she would go the extra mile to achieve what she has planned.
Chin Lee is also a happy mother to a daughter and always have the full support from her businessman husband.
